Obituaries Euella V Calhoun
Eoff, age 85, of Birmingham, Alabama, died Monday, June 25, 2007. She was
born November 13, 1921, in Bruner, Missouri, and was married in 1942 to William
Lloyd Calhoun, who preceded her in death. She married Archie Wilson Eoff in 1972
and he preceded her in death in 2004. Euella was a resident of Springfield for
32 years before moving to Alabama in October 2004. She was a member of the Brentwood
Christian Church in Springfield and the Riverchase United Methodist Church in
Birmingham. She was an accomplished artist, creating many beautiful landscapes
and still-life oil paintings. She is survived by one son, Michael Calhoun and
his wife Kay of Birmingham; one stepson, Jerry Eoff of St. Louis, and one grandson,
Mike Calhoun II of Harrah, Oklahoma. She leaves behind many other loving cousins,
nieces and nephews and a host of friends who will miss her outgoing enthusiasm
for life and her positive, radiant personality. She is also survived by her longtime
friend Mrs. Billie Collinson of Springfield, whom she loved as a sister. A graveside
service will be held in Patterson Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 29 with
Greenlawn Funeral Home South in charge of arrangements. Jim
Sharp Adair of Idalou passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at the age
of 56. Mr. Adair was born on June 16, 1950, in Crosbyton, to Clifton and Opal
Adair. He married Linda Eoff on March 14, 1980, in Lubbock. He worked as a salesman
for Bee Equipment, a heavy construction equipment company and enjoyed hunting
and golf. Mr. Adair was preceded in death by a daughter, Jill Adair in 1982
and by his father in 1998. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife,
Linda of Idalou; a daughter, Jamie Adair Cheatham and husband Bobby of Austin;
a brother, Mark Adair of Perryton; four sisters, Mary Havens of New Caney, Dona
Bolin of Perryton, Becky Freeman of Balko, Okla., and Debbie Hoelscher of Pilot
Point; and many nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials to the American
Cancer Society. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today, March
16, 2007, at White Funeral Home in Idalou. A celebration of life service will
be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2007, at Idalou United Methodist Church,
with Pastor Glenn Harlin officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial
Park. Mary L. Eoff Boyd, 82, Yates Center, died Wednesday, May
30, 2007, at Andover. She was born Nov. 27, 1924, in Harrison, Ark., to Otis and
Clyde Ozier Eoff. She was a homemaker, and a member of the First Christian Church
in yates Center. She married Darrell Joe Boyd on April 21, 1944. He preceded her
in death Dec. 25, 1981. Survivors include two daughters, Jody Adams, Yates Center,
and Judy Glades, Andover; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June
2 at Campbell Funeral Home, Yates Center. Interment will follow at Yates Center
Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 1 at the funeral
home. Contributions may be made to Friends For Life in care of the funeral home.
05/31/2007 Charles Robert Bob Eoff, Sr. of Cuba, Missouri
was born to the union of James Mills Eoff and Hazel Gladine (Osborne) Eoff on
August 22, 1943 in Bourbon, Missouri passed away Friday, June 15, 2007 in Cuba,
Missouri at the age of 63 years, 9 months and 23 days. Robert was united in marriage
to Karen Sue Landwehr on December 16, 2006 and prior to that had shared 27 years
together. He retired from McGinnis Stave Mill after 38 years of loyal service.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; son, Steven Eoff; two brothers, James
Eoff and (infant) Jimmy Eoff; sister, Gladine Land; mother-in-law, Vivian Protte.
Those who are left to mourn his passing are his wife, Karen Sue Eoff of Cuba,
Missouri; three sons, Charles Eoff, Jr. of Potosi, Missouri, Jeff Eoff of Moberly,
Missouri, Clinton Eoff of Bland, Missouri; two daughters, Judy Bum
Vinson of Belle, Missouri and Elizabeth Delicate Eoff (fiancé
Robby Branson) of Cuba, Missouri. Four sisters, Della (Bill) Cook of Cuba, Missouri,
Dorothy (John) Veach of Cuba, Missouri, Ruth (Ron) Roach of Sullivan, Missouri,
Bonnie Bockover of Cuba, Missouri; three brothers, Lloyd, Leroy (Helen) and Albert
(Judy) Eoff all of Bourbon, Missouri. Seven grandchildren, Shay, Steven, Tasha,
Samantha, Charles R., Katelyn and Bradley; two great grandchildren, Jed and Trinity;
nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; one special niece, Brandy Roach;
two very special great nieces Candice Richardson and Danni Bockover; special great
nephew, Troy Richardson II; three very special friends that were like brothers,
Chuck Eudy, Bob Chew and Bill Swan. Visitation was held Monday, June 18, 2007
from 5-8 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri. Funeral was at 1 p.m.
on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at the Britton Funeral Home with Rev. James Gruver,
officiating. Pallbearers were Bill Cook, Robert Branson, Troy Richardson, Jr.,
Brian Littrell, Bobby Bockover and Jesse Bockover. Interment was private. Arrangements
under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri. David
Russell Eoff Jr., 46, of Melbourne, Ark., and formerly of Montgomery City
died July 25, 2007, in St. Charles. He was born Aug. 19, 1960, to David R. Sr.
and Shirley E. J. (Collins) Eoff in Olney.Mr. Eoff was a self-employed carpenter
and also worked in sales. He was a member of the Arkansas Manufacturing Housing
Association and was a licensed notary in Arkansas and Missouri.He is survived
by his wife, Nancy (Crosby) Eoff of Melbourne, Ark.; six children, Damian, Justin
and Andrew Hoskinds, all of Melbourne, Ark., Michael Flaningan of Troy, Alex Eoff
of St. Louis and Jaime Penn of New Florence; his stepmother, Connie Eoff of Hermann;
six brothers, Dean and Chris, both of Montgomery City, Daniel of Wright City,
Paul of Warrenton, Duane of Cairo, Mo., and Adam of Mineola; one sister, Rita
Newsom of Warrenton; and one grandson.He was preceded in death by his parents.Services
will be at 10 a.m. July 30 at Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City with burial
in Montgomery City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. July 29 at the funeral

Road, Montgomery City, MO 63361. Lydia Mae Reeves Eoff, 90, of
Eubank, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She
was born March 24, 1917 in Casey County to the late Arthur and Janie Wiser Reeves.
She cooked for Eubank High School for 18 years. Survivors include her daughter,
Jean (and Paul) Hackney of Georgetown, Ky.; two grandchildren, Tammy Hackney and
Stephen (and Tabatha) McEldred; and two great-grandchildren, Woody McEldred and
Marshall McElred. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Robert, Bill,
Aubry, Herman, and Omer Reeves; and one sister, Lou Maxey Reed. Funeral services
will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 7, at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home with
Billy Maxey officiating. Burial will be in the Eubank Cemetery. Visitation
will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jimmy

Eoff, 68, of Avoca died on Sunday, August 12, 2007 at St. Marys Hospital
in Rogers.She was born on October 10, 1938 in War Eagle, Arkansas to the late
Loyd G. Edmonson and Violet J. Campbell.She was a homemaker and of the Baptist
faith and just celebrated her fiftieth wedding anniversary. She was preceded in
death by both of her parents; one son Ronnie Eoff, 1 sister and 3 brothers.She
is survived by her husband Leon Eoff to whome she married on February 23, 1957;
one son, Mike Eoff and wife Sheila of Garfield; two daughters, Sue Eoff of Rogers
and Martha Black and husband Jim of Rogers; one brother Loyd Edmonson JR of Avoca;
two sisters Vada Payne of Harrison and Etta Craine of Springdale; 7 grandchildren
and 3 great grandchildren.A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August

Aug. 21, 2007 Ottilie Benke Eoff Monday, May 21, 2007 Ottilie
Eoff died May 18, 2007, at age 93. Ottilie Benke was born Feb. 20, 1914, in
Poland. A homemaker, she moved to Portland in 1952 and later lived in King City
and Beaverton. In 1938, she married Julius Kramer; they divorced. In 1962, she
married Stanley Eoff; he died in 1982. Survivors include her daughters, Ursula
Foy, Edie Duncan and Marlene Taylor; sister, Alonia Richard Eoff -
ELIZABETHTON ELIZABETHTON ? Richard ?Rick? V. Eoff, age 79, 183 Mayfield Dr.,
Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2007, in Hillview Health Care following
an extended illness. He was a native of Kansas City, MO, and a son of the late
David and Claudia Cook Eoff. He moved to Elizabethton in 1991 after retiring in
1989 as supervisor with the Washington D.C. Transit Authority. Mr. Eoff was a
member of Hunter First Baptist Church where he received a plaque of appreciation
for his many years of service in the usher ministry. He was a member of the Bible
Sunday School Class. Mr. Eoff was a member of the Dashiell Masonic Lodge No. 238,
Scottish Rite 32nd Degree, Jericho Shriners, the Elks Lodge of Elizabethton and
Moose Lodge of Maryland. He is survived by his wife, Jo Hart Eoff of the home.
The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Eoff will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday,
July 24, in the Tetrick Funeral Home Chapel of Peace with Dr. Dennis Deese and
Rev. Sherrel Nave officiating. Masonic rites will be conducted by members of the
Dashiell Masonic Lodge No. 238. Music will be under the direction of Sue Bowers,
Ken Miller and Patty Hodge. Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Jack Wilson, Powell Wilson, Jim Ferguson, Lowell Garrison,
Don Cooper, Richard Pearce, Frank Childers and Rick Peters. Honorary pallbearers
will be Jim Campbell, Charles Abbott, Ted Colbaugh, Dan Abbott, and his many special
friends at Hunter First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1

Lorene Olson, 74, died peacefully at home in Austin, Monday, April 16, 2007.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She is preceded
in death by her youngest son, Douglas Boyd. Lindy will be missed by her devoted
husband, Leslie M. Olson; sons William "Bud" Boyd, Robert L. Boyd, Sidney
J. Boyd, and daughter, Dixie Boyd. Lindy Lorene is survived by sisters: Clearsie
Johnson, Elsie Russom, Margaret Harbison, and Marthann Neslomey, brother Therman
Eoff, and their families. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed

service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, in East Hill Foursquare Church,
office complex-south, in Gresham for Betty H. Stevens, who died Sept. 27 of cancer
at age 70. Betty Maxwell was born Aug. 28, 1937, in Portland. She graduated
from Beaverton High School and lived in the Portland area all her life. She was
an executive administrator in the engineering department for PGE, where she worked
for about 20 years. Survivors include her sons, Don Paul Maxwell, Michael
Eoff and Richard Eoff; daughter, Tammi Morgan; brother, Bill Maxwell; sisters,
Barbra Maxwell, Karen Davies and Linda Gerhardus; nine grandchildren; and two

Karleen Eaton, 75, of Springdale died Thursday, April 19, 2007, in
Springdale. She was born Jan. 19, 1932, in Kingston, Ark., the daughter of William
and Cora Bowen Eoff. She had worked for Swanson Corp. and attended Calvary Free
Will Baptist Church in Springdale. She was preceded in death by her parents;
one brother, Johnny J. E. Eoff; one sister, Verna Lee Clark. She is survived by
one son, Bob Eaton and wife, Patty of Springdale; one granddaughter, Jennifer
Chappell of Springdale; one brother, Wesley Eoff of Springdale; three sisters,
Lois White of Kingston, Imogene Lillard of Springdale and Maxine Sloan of Rogers;
and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a. m. Monday
at the Chapel of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale with Rev. Clark

BARBARA, Calif. Former Duncan, Okla., resident Floyd Eugene Eoff Jr.,
73, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006, in his home in Santa Barbara, Calif. Funeral
was held Friday in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Santa Barbara. Graveside service
will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Duncan City Cemetery, with the Rev. Tracy L. Wilson
officiating. Interment is under direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. Friends
and family will gather at the home of Fallis and Sue Beall, 2204 Fairway Drive
in Duncan, following the service. He was born Jan. 15, 1933, in Oklahoma City,
to Floyd and Eloise Coats Eoff. He graduated from Duncan High School and attended
University of Oklahoma before joining the U.S. Marines and serving in the Korean
Conflict. He returned to Oklahoma, graduating with a degree in geology and
later received a mathematics degree from the University of Oklahoma. He taught
high school mathematics in Oklahoma and Santa Barbara, for 23 years. Survivors
include his wife, Joanne Eoff of Santa Barbara; two sons: William Jeffery Eoff
of Sacramento, Calif., and Robert Henry Eoff of Sparks, Nev.; step-children: Michelle
Hammerton of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Carl, Larry and Brian Michelet, all
of Santa Barbara; eight grandchildren; a sister, former Duncan resident Joanne
Eoff Baker of Norman, Okla.; and three nieces: Angela Steely of Norman, Deborah
Cochran of Cushing, Okla., and Melissa Franks of Houston, Texas; and many cousins.

Billy
Joe "Bill" Eoff of Nixa went to be with his heavenly Father June 5,
2007, in St. John's Regional Hospital after a sudden illness. Bill was born to
James Everette and Reba June (Walker) Eoff on December 4, 1930, in Nixa, Missouri.
He was united in marriage to Jerry Stahl on December 8, 1954, in Har-rison, Ark.
They celebrated their 50th anniversary a few months before Jerry passed away in
April of 2005. Bill served in the U.S. Army for two years and received an honorable
discharge. He received military honors for service in 2000 from the Department
of Defense. After Bill served in the U.S. Army, he and Jerry settled on the Eoff
homestead in Nixa, Missouri. Together, they raised four children. Harve Eoff,
Bill's grandfather, arrived in southwest Missouri by covered wagon in 1876 at
the age of 12. In 1902 he purchased land along the James River where Bill enjoyed
a long career in farming. In 2002 Jerry and Bill received the Century Farm recognition
from University Outreach and Extension. He found great satisfaction in working
with the land and caring for his cattle. As a young man, Bill won numerous awards
at horse shows with his beautiful palomino, Queen. The entire family loved watching
Bill with Queen long after he quit showing her. Bill also enjoyed exploring his
family\'s genealogy and loved sharing stories about his findings. He set a good
example for his children by being honest, kind and understanding while helping
to teach them the value of working and taking care of family. Bill enjoyed his
grandchildren and was affectionately called "Pop Bill" by the younger
children. Bill was a faithful member of Parkcrest Baptist Church and loved his
Sunday School Class. He leaves behind many wonderful church family members. He
was preceded in death by his wife, Jerry, a brother, Harold, and his parents.
Bill leaves behind his two sons, Stephen Eoff and wife, Cheryll, and DuWayne Eoff
and wife, Jackie; two stepdaughters, Kay Brock and husband, Paul, and Jan Naegler
and husband, Joe; his grandsons, Bryan, Aaron and Dallas; his granddaughters,
Thesha and husband, Tom, Tiffany and husband, Byron, Nikki, Abbey and Aundria;
his great-grandchildren, Spencer, Macy and Elijah; and a nephew, Jimmy. Bill will
also be missed by special friends, Bill Collison, Norm Collison, Jim Joy, and
Bill and Faye Swearengin. Funeral services will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home
South at 1 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2007, with burial to follow in the Missouri State
Veterans Cemetery at Springfield Lake. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday,
