died Friday at home.

Mrs. Ward was born in Anson. She was a member of the First United
Methodist Church in Graham.
Her husband, W.H. "Homer" Ward, died in 1986.

WATAUGA - Victor M. Burns, a retired General Services Administration
employee and a heating and air-conditioning supervisor, died Monday at a
Bedford hospital. He was 85.
Funeral will be at 130 p.m. Wednesday at Hugh M. Moore & Sons Funeral
Home in Arlington. Burial will be in Moore Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Burns was born in Hope, Ark., and had lived in the Fort Worth area
since 1925. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 942 and Pleasant Glade
Assembly of God Church in Colleyville.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

Weatherford; four daughters, Evelyn Joyce Eoff of Quitman, Bobbie Helen

AZLE - Malinda Mae Sellers, a homemaker, died Thursday at her home. She
was 80.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Burial will
be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Sellers was born in Belmond, Iowa, and had lived in Azle for three
years. She had previously lived in Fort Worth for more than 50 years. She
was a member of Heritage Assembly of God Church.
Her husband, William H. Sellers, died Feb. 13, 1986.
SurvivorsThree sons, William H. Sellers Jr. of Delvan, Wis., Virgil
Sellers of Fort Worth and T.J. Sellers of Phoenix; three daughters, Belle

GRAHAM - Grace Patton Rape, a homemaker, died Friday at a Graham nursing
home. He was 87.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Slaters Chapel Cemetery near
Sweetwater. McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home in Graham is in charge of
arrangements.
Mrs. Rape was born in Llano. She was a member of Westside Church of Christ
in Midland.

daughter, Ann Wimberly of Midland; brother, Leon Patton of Tyler; three

FORT WORTH - J. Mack Eoff, 88, a maintenance mechanic for Bell Helicopter,
died Thursday at a North Richland Hills nursing home.
Graveside service10 a.m. today in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
J. Mack Eoff was born July 22, 1907, in Snyder. He moved to Fort Worth in
1950 and worked for Bell Helicopter. He was the 97th person hired by Bell.
He retired in the early 70s after more than 20 years of service. He was an
Army veteran of World War II.
SurvivorsDaughter, Mary Tankersley of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Michael
Tankersley and Marla Tankersley, both of Fort Worth; great-grandchildren,
Joshua Tankersley and Jacob Tankersley, both of Fort Worth; nephew,

FORT WORTH - Margaret Frances Martin of Fort Worth, a retired school
science teacher, died Tuesday at a Fort Worth hospital. She was 72.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth.
Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park.
Mrs. Martin was born in Memphis, Tenn. She received her bachelor and
master of science degrees from Memphis State University and Texas
Christian University. She had lived in Texas since 1952.
During World War II, Mrs. Martin was a medical technician at the Veterans
Administration hospital in Memphis.
Mrs. Martin was a science teacher in middle school in Longview before
moving to Fort Worth. She taught science in Texas schools for 26 years and
retired in 1983 from Leonard Middle School in Fort Worth.
Mrs. Martin was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Maj-jo
Sunday school class.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Senior Adult Day Program
of First Presbyterian Church.
SurvivorsHusband, Joe Martin of Fort Worth; two daughters, Linda Toney
of Tyler and Patti Obenhaus of Austin; brother, Fred Wooten of Sun City
West, Ariz.; sister, Virginia Eoff of Sun City West; and four

1999, at a Fort Worth hospital.

"Cotton" Windell D. Reed was born March 3, 1931. He moved to Eastland
County when he was nine years old. He was a graduate of Eastland High
School, where he was an exceptional basketball player.

Vivian A. Protte, nee Copling, of Cuba, Mo. was born on March 13, 1922 in
Kansas to the union of Noah Copling and Rosie Copling nee Warden and passed
away on March 2, 2000 at the Cuba Manor, Cuba, Mo. at the age of 77 years, 11
months and 19 days. Vivian was united in marriage to William Protte at
Steelville, Mo. They were happily married until William preceded her in death
on July 13, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one son
Edward Beal.
Vivian was a long time resident of Crawford County and a member of the Mt.
Olive Baptist Church. Those who survive to mourn her passing from this life
are her son Walter Beal and wife Lois; two daughters Kathy McCormick and
husband Garry and Karen Land and Robert Eoff; two step-daughters Shirley Beal
and Patricia Worthen and husband Don; three brothers Ben Copling and wife Mary
Lou, Henry Copling and Leroy Copling and wife Marilyn; two sisters Artie
Eddleman and husband Perry and Bernice Hayes; 13 grandchildren; 11
great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other
relatives and many friends. Vivian was a loving wife, devoted mother,
grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, good friend to all who knew her and
will be sadly missed. Vivian A. Protte nee Copling was in state at the Britton
Funeral Home of Cuba, Mo. where funeral services were held on Saturday, March
4, 2000 at 200 p.m. with Henry Copling officiating. Interment was in the
Lickcreek Cemetery, Cuba, Mo. All arrangements under the direction of the
Britton Funeral Home, Cuba, Mo.

ObituaryRoland Eugene Young died February 12, 1999 in West Valley City of heart failure.
He was born August 22, 1915, son of Joseph Alva Young and Louie Valeria Black, in Chester, Idaho. Roland married Barbara Lambert on December 19, 1945 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was an active member of the Granger West 4th Ward. He served as a Sunday School teacher, and High Priest instructor. He loved working in the Stake Family History Center for many years.
Survived by his wife; five sons and three daughters Paula Eoff, Edward (Bonnie) Young, Valeria (Roger) Spade, Joel (Cindy) Young, Vergil (Kathy) Young, Brett Young, Jeffrey (Paulanne) Young, LaNette
(Bill) Sisson; 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Reunited with his parents, sister, two brothers, daughter, and grandson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 16, 1999 at 12 noon at the Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 4335 West 4100 South.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, and from 1045 to 1150 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16 prior to services. Interment Valley View Memorial Park.
