Image name: The Mercantile

Programs used: Poser, Bryce, Photoshop

About this image: Only after I started this image did my mom tell me that my grandfather used to own a general store, so I dedicate this image to him. Models used are: The house across the street is Wappen's, the pioneer wagon, coffee grinder, churn, washboard, glass bottles, bucket, rocking chair, milk bottles, and scale were from 3dmodelworld.com. The basket was from Karen Wirtzel. The barrel, curtains, and oil lamps were free models (can't remember the site). The fruit crates, doll, dress maniquin, hat, dress, window, candy jars, fruit jars, all canned goods, the boxed goods, shelves, counter, and eggs were made by me. The curtain and rug textures are actual calico prints. The labels on all the canned goods, dried goods, and the fruit crates are vintage food labels from 1880's-1920's. The picture on the wall and on the counter side are vintage images, also. The wallpaper is an antique print.
